Thanks for considering the NDHSA State Convention as an avenue to promote your business or ministry or ideas.

The North Dakota Home School Association (NDHSA) was founded in 1985 and maintains a mailing list of over 1200 families. State convention attendance is expected to range from 1000 to 1200 people in Fargo.

Our organizational purpose involves encouraging and assisting Christian families in the parent-led private home education of their children according to biblical principles.

We have designed this page for your convenient vendor registration. With just a few clicks, you may reserve your booth, order extra tables, advertise in the convention booklet, and or sponsor a sesson.

All booths are distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Based on years of experience plus knowing the popularity of our keynote speakers, booth spaces will be snapped up quickly, so please register as soon as possible to ensure a spot and get the early bird discount.

If you are unable to attend this convention, consider using the convention booklet advertising or session sponsorship as another good opportunity to get your message out.

Thanks for registering. We look forward to meeting you in Fargo!

Sincerely, Jim & Lynn Bartlett, Exective Director

Notes from Lori Kenney, NDHSA Convention Coordinator
convention@ndhsa.org

Greetings from the NDHSA! We are excited about our upcoming convention! It will be held at the Fargo Civic Center and we will have a very large exhibition hall to work with. The Centennial Hall, with 17,000 sq. ft. of carpeted floor space and 25 feet high ceilings is an ideal setting for up to 103 10X10 vendor exhibition booths.

DEADLINE: Reserve your space early this year! December 10, 2006 , is the cut off for all advertising, sponsorships and for having your name printed in the convention booklet. We will continue to take vendors until all spaces are filled, but you will want to take advantage of our early bird fees and register as soon as you possibly can. All questions can be directed to Lori Kenney at convention@ndhsa.org. We will be mailing out the convention booklet the first week of January.

FLOORPLAN: Attached (later) is the Centennial Hall floor plan which lays out 103 10X10 booths. If you have any specific set-up requests, they must be made clear to the NDHSA (drawing a map of your desired booth set up is very helpful) and will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring extension cords.

FOOD: No box lunches will be ordered this year, but the Civic Center has a concession stand that will be open throughout the convention. No outside food is allowed in the Civic Auditorium. You will find several choices to eat at the nearby restaurants.

ACCOMMODATIONS: The host hotel is the Howard Johnson’s which is across the street from the Civic. They have a large block of rooms for our event at $79.00 each. They can be reached at 701.232-8850. The Radisson Hotel is connected to the Civic Center by a skywalk. They have a small block of rooms at $89.00 each and can be reached at 701.232.7363. Host families are being sought to house families coming from out town for the convention. If this is something you would like to take advantage of, please let me know, we have limited space available. We also will have more hotel rooms blocked throughout the city of Fargo . If you need a list of these, please contact Lori Kenney at convention@ndhsa.org.

BAG STUFFING: The NDHSA will stuff 500 bags this year. For a fee of $50 you can have your advertisement of any thickness stuffed into our bags. Your company advertisements must arrive no later than February 1, 2007 , to the following address: Karen Isgrig, 122 32 nd Ave. NE , Fargo , ND 58102.

PRODUCT SHIPPING: If you plan to ship your product to the Civic Center there will be a $20 fee from the Civic Center . Please send your product to: Fargo Civic Center , 207 N. 4 th St. , Fargo , ND , 58102 and mark it: NDHSA Convention – March 1-3, 2007. If I have assigned you a booth # by the time you have shipped your product, please include it on the label. Please only send product the week of the convention.

SPONSORSHIPS: You or your business may choose to become a sponsor for a portion of our convention at the fees listed on the registration form.

You will be sent a confirmation mailing and maps of the city prior to the convention.

Requests for refunds must be in writing and will be considered by the NDHSA executive director on a case-by-case basis.

Please Note: Our convention is Christian in nature and is organized to bring glory to God and encouragement to our attendees. Please be very sensitive to the evangelical Christian family and faith values that our convention-goers have. At the same time, Christian vendors please be sensitive to those who home school for other than religious reasons.

See you in Fargo!

Lori & Jeff Kenney
