Please consider becoming a member of the North Dakota Home School Association. Being a member of the NDHSA is a great way to stay informed, encouraged, and develop a support network for your home schooling journey. NDHSA membership is also a way to learn of special activities and events that your family can incorporate into your home education program. There are a few financial incentives too. Member benefits include the 10% annual convention registration discount; 10% discount on information packets; HSLDA group discount; 25% advertising discount to home school family businesses for e-newsletter and website ads; helping continue the general services and outreach activities of the NDHSA toward growing home education in North Dakota.

Families not choosing membership may still choose to be on the NDHSA mailing list and receive the enewsletters and legislative information at no cost.

Instructions

Members are welcome to join at any time of year for $35. Memberships expire twelve months after they are purchased. The NDHSA office sends each member a reminder to renew by email or US Mail.

Eighty-seven percent of NDHSA members use their email regularly, but since that may not include your family, a provision has been made for you to receive the newsletter on paper. Our office will print the e-newsletter, now called The Eclectic Report, and mail it to members upon an annual request. If you do have an email where you could receive and print this newsletter, that would save the NDHSA the expense.

Please read the NDHSA Statements of Faith and Purpose. Note that only NDHSA Board members and staff are required to endorse these statements. Other members are simply encouraged to be aware of these statements, but are not required to endorse them. Membership in the NDHSA is at the discretion and approval of the NDHSA leadership.

NDHSA Statement of Faith: Trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior, I believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God, and the basis of faith and practice; the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, God's Son; the death of the Jesus Christ for our sins; His bodily resurrection and His personal return; of regeneration and the spiritual life.

NDHSA Statement of Purpose: 1. Encouraging and assisting Christian families in the education of their children according to Biblical principles. 2. Providing to home educators and the general public information pertaining to the Biblical, academic and legal aspects of home education. 3. Entering into activities, in filling out contracts necessary, incidental or beneficial to the accomplishment of the nonprofit purposes of this corporation.

To join or renew your NDHSA membership using the paper mail-in form, please print and mail in the form found here and send with payment to: NDHSA, 1854 107 th St NE, Bottineau , ND 58318. If you prefer, you may simply write "membership" on the memo line of your check for $35 and the office will know that you want your membership started or renewed.
